Advantage Grain - Structured Grain Marketing Programs

About Advantage Grain

Structured wheat, barley and canola marketing.

Advantage Grain has partnered with farmers to market their wheat, barley and canola since 2008.

Since this time Advantage has delivered over 4 million tonnes of Australian grain into the programs. At the time of inception, the Advantage Grain Pools were considered an alternative to the AWB grain pools. Over the years the program has evolved to meet changing farmer and market needs, but the core concept of delivering low risk, low cost structured marketing programs has stayed the same.

Advantage Grain’s mission is to provide superior customer service and deliver consistent results to the grower. We look forward to partnering with you to market your grain this year and for years to come.

David Long

State Manager - South Australia and Victoria

Local to the great state, David has spent his 30-year career working around South Australia in various roles from primary production, grain accumulation and trading. A 6th-generation farmer, David has a passion for the grains industry, working with local communities and getting the best outcomes for growers in South Australia.

"One of the reasons I am excited to be joining the team at Advantage Grain is the way the pool is structured. In the current world environment, we are seeing more volatility in the agricultural industry than we have ever seen before. The disciplined pool sales structure combined with the safety net of counterparty insurance gives growers a great price averaging system with peace of mind of surety. Combine this with multiple time programs and payment options, farmers can choose an option to suit their financial needs."
